Mobilicity, a PE-backed wireless carrier based in Canada, has agreed to be acquired by TELUS (TSX: T, NYSE: TU) for CA$380 million. The entire purchase price will go toward satisfying Mobilicity's secured and unsecured debt. Backed by New York-based PE firm Quadrangle Group since 2008, Mobilicity owns wireless spectrum in 10 of Canada's 13 largest metropolitan markets, covering 16.1 million people.
