New Harbor acquires controlling interest in Certica

New Harbor Capital has completed a majority investment in Certica Solutions, a provider of K-12 data management software and education content solutions. The company's original institutional investor, Brook Venture Partners, will retain a minority stake. Founded in 2001, Certica delivers solutions to over 500 school districts, charter schools and educational services agencies. Along with New Harbor’s investment, Certica has acquired Academic Benchmarks, a data service company for K-12 academic standards.
