NFL safety Malcolm Jenkins launches new VC fund

Super Bowl-winning safety Malcolm Jenkins has created a new venture capital fund, Broad Street Ventures, backed by some fellow NFL players. Jenkins wants the fund to serve primarily as a vehicle for investors of color. He and co-founder Ralonda Johnson will manage the investments, focusing on growth-stage and late-stage tech and consumer products. The fund has already invested in companies such as Airbnb, Epic Games, Turo, NoBull, Automattic and ZenWtr.
