Oak Hill Capital Partners has completed its $1.43 billion acquisition of Berlin Packaging, a supplier of rigid packaging products and services, from Investcorp. The deal was made in partnership with company management, which retains a significant ownership position. Founded in 1898, Berlin Packaging has 33,000+ available SKUs, over 120 packaging consultants and more than 90 sales and warehouse locations in North America. Its services include structural and brand design, worldwide sourcing, warehousing and logistics, and capital financing. In connection with the completion of the acquisition, Berlin Packaging also closed its previously announced first and second lien financing along with a revolving credit facility, the former of which were underwritten and arranged by Deutsche Bank, Deutsche Bank Securities and Morgan Stanley Senior Funding.
