Onex ups Bobby Le Blanc to president

Onex has promoted Bobby Le Blanc from senior managing director to president, according to Bloomberg, a newly created position from which he will oversee all business units and become the sole head of flagship private equity platform Onex Partners. The promotion positions Le Blanc as a possible successor to Gerry Schwartz, who has led the Toronto-based buyout firm since founding it in 1984.
