Investment platform operator eToro has agreed to merge with FinTech Acquisition Corp. V, a blank-check company set up by Betsy Cohen. The deal is expected to value the combined entity, which will trade on the Nasdaq, at about $10.4 billion. As part of the merger, the companies are also raising $650 million from investors including Fidelity Management & Research and SoftBank's Vision Fund 2. London-based eToro offers zero-commission trading and has 20 million registered users. It raised a $100 million Series E in 2018.
