PE-backed Albireo closes energy services buyout

Huron Capital Partners-backed Albireo Energy has purchased Environmental Energy, a provider of energy management systems for commercial and higher education buildings in the New York metropolitan area. Detroit-based Huron formed Albireo in 2014, and the company has since invested in 16 companies related to the energy services sector.
