Since the beginning of 2007, private equity investors have completed 58 investments in U.S. companies involved in the natural or organic segment of the Food and Beverage industry, according to the PitchBook Platform. California is a hot spot for such deals, including the Flavours investment included in today's newsletter. The state alone accounts for 29% of the deal flow, making it the most active state. In second place is Colorado with a 10% share.
