Pembina to scoop up $3.3B worth of oil pipelines

Canada's Pembina Pipeline has reportedly agreed to acquire both Kinder Morgan's Canadian unit and the US portion of the Cochlin pipeline for a total of C$4.35 billion (around $3.3 billion). The deal is said to include terminals in both British Columbia and Alberta. Kinder Morgan's Canadian unit had reportedly considered selling itself in May but ultimately decided against it before receiving an offer from Pembina two months later.
