Pinterest has raised $150 million at the same share price as its most recent round, in 2015, as first reported by Bloomberg. The social media and visual search company is now reportedly valued at $12.3 billion, up from the $11 billion valuation it reached in 2015 because the number of shares has grown over the last two years. The new funding is said to be from existing backers; Pinterest has a long list of previous investors that includes SV Angel, Andreessen Horowitz and Bessemer Venture Partners.
