PPF Group eyes €4B telecom unit IPO

PPF Group, the investment company controlled by Czech magnate Petr Kellner, has hired banks ahead of launching an IPO for its telecommunication unit Cetin (formerly Česká Telekomunikační Infrastruktura), Bloomberg reported. PPF is said to have picked BNP Paribas, Morgan Stanley and Societe Generale to assist with the stock market debut that could potentially value the business at around €4 billion. Cetin operates the Czech Republic's biggest telecommunications network and its 6,000 base stations provide 99.6% of the population with mobile connectivity.
