Reckitt Benckiser may sell French's to fund Mead Johnson deal

Reckitt Benckiser (LON: RB), the UK conglomerate behind Lysol products and Durex condoms, may divest its foods business to help finance its $17.9 billion acquisition of baby-food maker Mead Johnson Nutrition (NYSE: MJN), according to The Sunday Times. The division in question includes French's Mustard and Frank's Red Hot and could fetch as much as $3 billion, per Reuters, while Reckitt continues its pivot away from the foods division toward consumer health products.
