Redfin launches board diversity campaign

Online real estate brokerage Redfin has launched a new diversity campaign that asks startups to make at least one independent board seat available to women and people of color within two years of their Series A funding. Redfin has partnered with a growing list of VCs, including Madrona Venture Group and Greylock Partners, asking the firms to encourage early-stage portfolio companies to participate in the campaign.
