The Meadows, a multi-disorder inpatient facility and portfolio company of American Capital, has acquired Remuda Ranch as an add-on. Remuda Ranch provides inpatient, residential and outpatient eating disorder treatment programs based out of its 14-acre Wickenburg, AZ campus. The acquisition expands The Meadows' treatment services, which had already included alcohol addiction, bipolar disorder, gambling addiction, codependency and depression. American first invested in The Meadows in 2006, and has since grown the provider's treatment offering and patient list. Remuda had been an add-on acquisition in a 2006 deal, as well, via financial sponsors Cressey Company and Clayton Associates. Haven Behavioral Healthcare acquired the company that July.
