Ron Mock to Succeed Jim Leech as Teachers' President and CEO

Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan has announced that, effective January 1, 2014, Ron Mock will succeed Jim Leech as president and CEO of the organization. Mr. Mock is currently Teachers' senior vice president of Fixed Income and Alternative Investments. Mr. Leech has decided to retire as of December 31, 2013 after serving more than twelve years with Teachers', including the last six as chief executive officer. The pension plan holds $129.5 billion in net assets on behalf of more than 300,000 active and retired teachers in Ontario.
