Rothschild reels in $655M for US debut

Rothschild Merchant Banking, a unit of Rothschild & Co., has closed its first corporate private equity vehicle in the US on $655 million, exceeding its initial target. Called Five Arrows Capital Partners, the vehicle will pursue companies valued between $75 million and $500 million in the healthcare, data, software and business services sectors.
