Shareholders of both British asset manager Henderson Global Investors (LON: HGG) and US firm Janus Capital (NYSE: JNS) have approved the companies' $6 billion all-stock merger. The combined company will offer a more scalable product offering as actively managed funds face stiffening competition from index-tracking funds across asset classes.
