Cloud-based business management platform ShopKeep has raised $60 million in Series D funding, bringing its VC total raised since 2012 to over $97 million. Led by Activant Capital, the round comes 15 months after ShopKeep received $25 million in its Series C round at a valuation of $118 million. As part of the financing, Steve Sarracino of Activant will join the Board of Directors. ShopKeep's platform offers businesses point-of-sale and payment technology, as well as customer marketing, inventory and staff management, back-end reporting and detailed analytics. Previous investors in the company include Canaan Partners and Tribeca Venture Partners.
