Skype founders Niklas Zennstrom and Janus Friis have settled their lawsuit against the investor group acquiring Skype and eBay (NASDAQ: EBAY), its parent company. The deal gives the two founders a 14% stake in Skype post closing, causing the investor group to reduce their stake from 65% to 56% and eBay from 35% to 30%. The $1.9 billion and $125 million buyer's note terms have not changed. Part of the settlement also included Index Ventures dropping out of the investing group. As a result the investor group now consists of Silver Lake Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and Skypes' founders.
