The round was led by new investor ICONIQ Capital and participated in by all existing investors. The fresh funding will be used to expand operations in the U.S. and abroad, and to enhance its translation management platform. Smartling has raised about $63 million in equity financing since the beginning of 2010. Its last round—a $24 million Series C—was raised in 2013.
