Music streaming platform SoundCloud has asked a group of investors, including Union Square Ventures and Temasek, to provide the embattled startup $169.5 million at a $150 million pre-money valuation, per Axios. If a deal is reached, the Series F would close Friday and be used to clear the company's debt. If no deal is reached, it will likely be the end for SoundCloud. The company has had a tough year: Just last month, it let go of 40% of its staff and closed two of its four offices. SoundCloud was worth an estimated $1 billion in 2016.
