SS&C Technologies, a portfolio company of The Carlyle Group's fund IV, has filed to go public in a $300 million offering. The financial services software provider previously tried to go public in 2007 but withdrew its IPO in 2008, citing market conditions. Carlyle took the company private for $37.25 per share or $856.7 million in 2005.
