Sweden's eEquity closes Fund IV after tapping EU capital

Swedish tech-focused PE firm eEquity has reached a 1.6 billion Swedish kronor (around €160 million) final close on its fourth flagship fund after getting a €37.5 million commitment from the European Commission. The investment comes via the commission's European Scale-up Action for Risk Capital program. The fund will focus on ecommerce companies with a global reach, backing up to 12 companies with a ticket size of around 30 million to 150 million kronor.
