Symphony Technology Group Merges Two Portfolio Companies

Symphony Technology Group, a software and services-centered private equity firm, has merged portfolio companies Aldata and EYC. The new company, Symphony EYC, will combine the customer engagement analytics software of EYC with Aldata's retail and distribution optimization execution capabilities. The combined company will aim to help shoppers make decisions on brands and purchases in real time, online or inside a store. Symphony EYC is expected to operate in over 25,000 stores worldwide, with an expanding presence across Europe, the Americas and Asia. Palo Alto-based Symphony Technology Group invests in and partners with enterprise software and services companies with the potential to become world class global businesses.
