Teespring lays off chunk of staff in restructuring

Teespring, an online marketplace for T-shirts, has conducted "steep layoffs" in recent weeks, according to Crunchbase, cutting its staff number down to between 20 and 30 people. Teespring was reportedly on the brink of insolvency prior to the layoffs. Founded in 2012, the company is backed by Andreessen Horowitz and Khosla Ventures, among others, and has reportedly raised about $58 million in venture funding.
