Terra Firma's Guy Hands buys Australian cattle business from his own firm

UK private equity firm Terra Firma has exited Consolidated Pastoral Company to the family office of its founder, Guy Hands. Northern Territory-headquartered CPC is Australia's largest private cattle company and holds 3.2 million hectares of land with a capacity for around 300,000 head of cattle. Terra Firma, which was founded by Hands in 2002, acquired CPC in 2009.
