TPG Growth to tap into TRACE

TPG Growth has agreed to acquire a majority stake in TRACE, an operator of mobile services, TV channels and radio stations focused on music and entertainment in sub-Saharan Africa. Evolution Media and Satya Capital will also invest in the transaction. The deal will mark an exit for MTG, which has backed TRACE since acquiring a 75% stake in the business in 2014.
