Former Uber CEO Travis Kalanick has put forth a new filing in his lawsuit with Benchmark, fleshing out his argument that the case should go to arbitration rather than be decided in court, a development that would allow it to play out in a more private manner. The paperwork indicates Kalanick has filed a claim with the American Arbitration Association. Benchmark sued Kalanick earlier this month, alleging he'd fraudulently attempted to gain control of Uber's board.
