VCs Hope for a Drop of Genius with New Healthcare Investment

Drop of Genius Microsystems, a developer of advanced visualization solutions for medical imaging under the Cadens Imaging brand, has completed a $2.7 million early stage venture financing. Desjardins Venture Capital led the round and was joined by Fonds de solidarite FTQ and Anges Quebec, as well as a cadre of angel investors. Established in 2007, Cadens plans to use the new funding to promote Cadens Colon, its core product, and continue developing its new lung cancer screening system.
