Visier, a provider of workforce analytics and planning solutions, has closed a $25.5 million Series C financing round. The new round, which brings the company's total financing to date to $49.5 million, was led by Adams Street Partners and included participation from return investors Foundation Capital and Summit Partners. Visier initially raised a $6 million Series A round from Foundation Capital at a $21 million valuation in 2011.
With Visier’s cloud solutions, organizations can leverage data from unlimited sources to predict how workforce behaviors (such as future employee recruitment, promotion and turnover patterns) will change, and use this insight to create, analyze and collaborate on plans to optimize the workforce. Over the past year, the company has doubled its customer count, nearly doubled the size of its workforce and relocated its Vancouver HQ to a new larger facility. Visier will use the new capital to broaden adoption of its applied Big Data solutions within the human resources market and penetrate new growth areas.
