Warburg Pincus devotes $231M to Modernizing Medicine

Warburg Pincus has invested $231 million in Modernizing Medicine to provide liquidity to the company's shareholders and fund expansion and strategic initiatives. Founded in 2010, the company provides a cloud-based health record system for specialty practices in the US. Modernizing Medicine previously raised close to $100 million in VC funding, most recently securing $38 million in 2015 at a $397 million valuation.
