Warburg Pincus to devote $360M to Tata Technologies

Warburg Pincus has agreed to acquire a roughly 43% stake in Tata Technologies, the engineering outsourcing division of Tata Motors (NYSE: TTM), for $360 million. Warburg will buy about 30% of the company from Tata Motors and its Sheba Properties unit and the other 13% from Tata Capital. Manufacturing products for the auto, aerospace and industrial machinery sectors, Tata Technologies employs some 8,500 workers across 23 countries.
