Warner Bros. is reportedly close to acquiring full control of Machinima, an online video platform for video game players and fans, in a deal that would value the company at less than $100 million. Machinima, which was valued at $150 million in 2011, has raised about $110 million in total venture funding. WB is an existing investor in the company, having led an $18 million late-stage financing in 2014 and participated in a $24 million follow-on the next year. Other existing investors include GV, Lagovent Ventures Group and Triangle Peak Partners.
