After being seeded with $2 million in July 2010, Seattle-based startup Wavii developed a natural language processing app that condenses news stories available on the internet. The company reportedly has now agreed to be acquired by Google for roughly $30 million. The acquisition will provide an exit for a handful of high-profile VC investors, including Battery Ventures, CrunchFund, Felicis Ventures, Kapor Capital and SV Angel. Wavii’s app will no longer be available, but its technology will be utilized by Google.
