Description

A 30-story art deco skyscraper on Madison Square Park in Manhattan, New York City. The building was designed in the 1920 by architect Harvey Wiley Corbett and Dan Everett Waid and has 2,200,000 square feet of space, which was constructed in three stages and was finally completed in 1950. It contains 30 elevators and the building is clad in Alabama limestone with marble details and richly appointed marble lobbies, vertically striated surfaces and streamlined undulating masses. The primary tenants of this building consist of Credit Suisse offices, Eleven Madison Park restaurant occupying street-level retail space on madison avenue and offices of the Cherit Group.
