First Quantum Minerals (Kevitsa Mine) General Information
Mining project in Northern Finland. The property is a nickel-copper-gold-PGM (platinum group metals) mine located in the Lapland region of Finland. It is an open-pit mine and one of the largest nickel reserves in the world. The nickel content in the concentrate is expected to produce approximately 10,000 tons of nickel metal per annum. The second is a copper-PGE-gold concentrate grading close to 28% copper. The copper content in both concentrates is expected to produce approximately 17,000 tons of copper metal per annum.
