Mr. Matt Harrop is a Co-Founder and serves as Chief Technology Officer and Board Member at Figment. He serves as Chief Operating Officer at CourseCraft. He is also an angel investor. He was a Co-Founder and served as Chief Technology Officer of Pingg. He is a self-taught computer engineer, entrepreneur and investor with 20+ years experience. He founded Interlog Internet Services in 1994, one of Canada's first commercial IP transit networks. At Interlog he built and scaled a range of services including domain name registration, web hosting and the first consumer & business offering of high speed internet in Canada. He also recruited and managed a team of 50+ engineers. In 1999, he co-founded BOAW Networks, a national data center and hosting service provider. Between start-ups, he spent 5 years racing and living aboard sailboats. During this time he crossed the Atlantic 4 times, and then the Pacific to Australia before returning to New York City to co-found his third start-up Pingg. He currently lives in Toronto with his wife and two sons.
