Mr. Martin Tobias is the Founder at Incisive Ventures. He previously co-founded and served as Chief Executive Officer and Board Member at Upgrade Labs. He is the Founder and serves as Manager at MGT Investments. He created Kashless in September 2008. He is also the founder and CEO at Tippr.com and an executive at Groupalicious. He is a Special Limited partner at Yaletown Venture Partners Inc. He is a Mentor at TechStars. He is a serial entrepreneur and venture capitalist and a recognized leader in technology whose vision is to significantly drive innovation in the next decade by powerfully intersecting the tech world with the sustainable green industry. He is a serial entrepreneur with credentials in Cleantech and Digital Media. He is a recognized leader in renewable energy/clean tech and is often in the press for his transition from technology to renewable energy/greentech. Mr. Tobias is a venture capitalist who has founded three companies, invested in over two dozen, taken one public and not used a drop of petroleum in his personal vehicles for over four years. Previously, he was the CEO of Imperium Renewables and founding CEO of Loudeye Technologies. As a former venture partner at Ignition Partners and a co-founder of the Northwest Energy Angels, he has financed and provided guidance to over two dozen technology start-ups. He serves on the Venture Council of Industry Ventures and is a Director of Cloudmark, IP Fabrics and Afiniti Ventures. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and Computer Science from the Oregon State University.
