Mr. Frederic Destin serves as Co-Founding Partner at Stride.VC. Mr. Frederic Destin served as General Partner at Accel (Palo Alto). He also served as Board Member at GoCardless, EnglishCentral and Deliveroo. He also serves as Board Member at WeGIFT. He focuses on early stage investments and is particularly passionate about great consumer businesses, though he'll also invest in SaaS opportunities and fintech. Fred spent 10 years at Atlas Venture, first in London and later Boston, and played a major role alongside his partner Jeff Fagnan in the reinvention of the Atlas brand and franchise. He led over 15 investments on both sides of the pond including Zoopla (LSE: ZPLA), Dailymotion (acquired by Orange), PriceMinister (acquired by Rakuten), The CurrencyCloud, CustomMade, Integral Ad Science, Kinvey, Lagoa, PillPack, Secret Escapes, StreamNation and others. He also drove a number of seed investments including FashionProject, Proletariat, SimpleReach, unbounce, par80 and others. In Fred's 15 years in venture, he also invested or served on the boards of Rainfinity (acquired by EMC), CapitalIQ (acquired by S&P) and Xerox-PARC spinoff Inxight Software (acquired by BOBJ). He was previously an executive director at Goldman Sachs and also worked at JP Morgan in hybrid derivatives, but has never looked back since deciding to jump into innovation and entrepreneurship. He holds a Master of Finance, Magna cum Laude, from Solvay Business School (University of Brussels) and has lived, studied, and worked in London, Hong Kong, New York, Geneva, Belgium and Boston.
