Mr. Kenneth Langone is the Founder and serves as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer at Invemed Associates. He is the Founder and since 1974, has been Chairman of the Board of Invemed Associates a New York Stock Exchange firm engaged in investment banking and brokerage. He serves as Board Member at Micell Technologies. He is a co-founder of The Home Depot and was a director and member of the executive committee of its board for 30 years. He serves as the Vice-Chairman, Office of Board at New York University. He also serves on the boards of YUM Brands and Unifi .In addition to his business affiliations, Mr. Langone's extensive philanthropic endeavors include serving as the Chair of the Board of Trustees of the NYU Langone Medical Center. Mr. Langone is also the Chairman of the Promise Academy, a charter school in New York City, and serves on the boards of The Ronald McDonald House of NY, Robin Hood Foundation, CSIS, The Medal of Honor Foundation and the Harlem Children's Zone. Langone serves a Senior Advisor of Starr Investment Holdings. He currently serves on the Board of Overseers of the Stern School and on the Board of Trustees of New York University, as well as serving as chairman of the Board of Trustees of New York University Medical Center (renamed the NYU Langone Medical Center in 2008). He was a member of the Bucknell University Board of Trustees for 15 years, where he served as chairman of its Nominating Committee, its Endowment Committee, and as a member of its Executive Committee. He received a B.A. from Bucknell University and an M.B.A. from New York University's Stern School of Business (the currently named Langone Program). He is also an Angel Investor.
