Mr. Jon Schulz serves as Chief Marketing Officer at Viant. He is a recognized industry thought leader in the digital marketing, online media, web, mobile and IPTV space. As Chief Marketing Officer of Viant, Jon spearheads new business development, creating strategic partnerships to drive growth and ROI; brand marketing communications, including product marketing and strategy; and CRM, which spans across research, creative and analytics. He joined Viant in 2008 as Senior Vice President - Head of Global Automotive, and was responsible for growing revenue in the global automotive category by over 40 percent in his first year. During a period of rapid growth and multiple acquisitions, he led business development and strategic partnerships across the enterprise on a global basis. He began his career in Information Technology with systems programming and database experience and spent 12 years in the Marketing Leadership Program at Ford Motor Company. He served as the head of Digital Marketing and CRM for Ford, Lincoln and Mercury brands where he was responsible for digital and emerging media, dealer digital integration, brand websites and direct marketing. He has an MBA in Marketing from Indiana University and a BS in Management Information Systems from Central Michigan University.
