Mr. Matthew Witheiler serves as Sector Lead, Consumer & Technology at Wellington Management. He served as a General Partner at Flybridge Capital Partners. He currently serves on the boards of Convoke and Dragon Innovation and as an observer on the boards of Carnival Labs, DataXu, and Sand 9. He served as a Board Member for Jibo. He joined Flybridge as a Senior Associate in July 2008 after completing his MBA at Harvard School of Business (HBS) and was promoted to Principal in 2010. Before joining the firm, he served in various roles in the high-technology industry. Most recently, he was a Summer Associate at Jefferies Broadview in technology investment banking where he advised on the sale, IPO, and debt strategies of various companies in the technology industry. Before that, he worked at ATI Technologies, a 3D-graphics silicon provider, and was co-owner and Senior Hardware Editor of the successful hardware review website, AnandTech.com. He also sits on the board of The Capital Network and is a Founding Executive Committee Member of First Growth Venture Network, a network of venture and angel investors supporting first and second-time entrepreneurs building exciting companies in the New York area. He holds a BA in Public Policy Studies from Duke University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
