Mr. Shawn Fanning is the Founder and C.E.O. of Rupture. He is the Founder of Napster. He is known most famously for having created one of the first peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing networks known as Napster. In 2003 Fanning and two business partners created Snocap. Having to fire over 60% of its employees by 2007 the project was a failure prompting Fanning's departure. In 2007 Shawn Fanning became the CEO of Rupture, quickly gaining the attention of Electronic Arts and being bought out for $15 million. In 2009 however Fanning was fired from the company. Currently he is the one of the founders of Path.com and valued at around $7.5 million.
