Mr. Daniel Murray serves as Consulting Chief Operating Officer & Board Member at Kleiner Device Labs. Mr. Murray has over 35 years of finance and operational experience in a broad range of medical device and technology companies, from small start-up organizations to large, multinational, public corporations. His experience includes venture capital and debt financing, initial public offerings, and merger and acquisition transactions, as well as expertise in all levels of financial, sales and marketing management. Currently, Dan is the consulting CFO for sports medicine startup Moximed, which is dedicated to improving the standard of care for patients with knee osteoarthritis. Prior to this role, he was Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of SI-BONE, Inc., a minimally invasive sacroiliac joint surgery company, where he drove commercialization of the iFuse Implant System from zero to over 16,000 procedures and over $150 million of cumulative revenue in five years. Mr. Murray was VP and Chief Financial Officer of Cayenne Medical, a multi-disciplined sports medicine start-up. Mr. Murray was the Corporate Controller for St. Francis Medical Technologies and was instrumental in the $725 million acquisition of St. Francis by Kyphon Inc. in January 2007 and the subsequent integration of the business operations into Kyphon. Mr. Murray has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from San Jose State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) in the State of California.
