Previously he was a managing director of private equity and venture capital at a hedge fund and private equity firm Chatterjee - Soros Group (an affiliate of Soros Fund Management in New York) with $2 billion under management. Prior to that, he was a technology banker at Cowen and an early-stage venture investor for a small VC firm. He started his career in software development and product marketing and management at Metaphor Computer Systems (acquired by IBM) He has an MBA from Harvard and a BS (computer science and economics, double major) from Yale.
