Prior to joining Starbucks in April 2009, he held several leadership positions at leading digital media companies and most recently was CEO of Barefoot Yoga Company, a Seattle-based e-commerce company. He served as Senior Vice President at the digital image licensing and e-commerce company Corbis and founded PlayNetwork, Inc., a leading provider of in-store digital media and entertainment services for businesses worldwide. He is a key member of the Starbucks senior leadership team. He leads Starbucks' core digital businesses, including mobile and mobile payments, web, card, loyalty, e-commerce, Wi-Fi, and the Starbucks Digital Network. He holds a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a J.D. from the University of Washington. He served on the Neiman Marcus Group, Inc. board of directors and currently serves on the University of Washington Master of Communication in Digital Media advisory board. He also serves as Board Member at Ruby Tuesday.
