He has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CGC since 1997 and is a member of the Management Committee. His prior roles with the Company included President and Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President of the Commodity Marketing Group, Group President of World Grain, and General Manager for European operations. Currently, he is Lead Independent Director of Loews Corporation, and a Board Member of The Estee Lauder Companies, Inc., Restaurant Brands International Inc., Apollo Global Management, LLC, Castleton Commodities International, LLC, Rabobank International North American Agribusiness Advisory Board, NYU Mitchell Jacobson Leadership Program in Law and Business Advisory Board, America-China Society, and Endeavor Global, Inc. Additionally, he is on the Board of Dean's Advisors at Harvard Business School, as well as serving as Director of the Continental Grain Foundation, a Trustee of the Fribourg Family Foundation, a Member of the Board of Managers of Wayne Farms LLC, and a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations, Brown University Advisory Council on China, and International Business Leaders Advisory Council for the Mayor of Shanghai. Mr. Fribourg received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Amherst College and an Advanced Management degree from Harvard Business School. He also serves as Board Member at Bunge.
