Description

Mr. Viktor Vekselberg is a Co-Founder and serves as Chairman at Renova Group. In 1990, Mr. Vekselberg became one of the major founders of Renova's managing company. Since 1996 he served as President of the SUAL Group and became Chairman of the Board of Directors of SUAL Group in 2003. From April 2002 to October 2003 he was Chairman of the TNK Management Board. In October 2003, after the establishment of the new company TNK-BP, Mr. Vekselberg became the Managing Director for Production and Technologies and joined the TNK-BP Board of Directors. Today he holds the position of a Member of the TNK-BP Board of Directors. Since 2007 - Chairman of the Board of Directors of United Company Rusal (UC Rusal). Mr. Vekselberg is actively participating in numerous public organizations, supporting the development of the Russian economy, business, and culture. In particular, he is a Member of the Bureau of the Management Board of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP), Chairman of the RSPP Committee on International Cooperation, and a Member of the Coordinating Council of the Entrepreneurial Unions of Russia. In March 2010 the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev appointed Mr. Vekselberg as the Head of the Russian section of the coordination council of the Innovation Center Project in Skolkovo. He is also an Angel Investor. He also serves as an Executive at Columbus Nova Technology Partners. He also served as a Board Member of the International Financial Club.
