He is a highly experienced manager and entrepreneur with over 45 years of experience in the semiconductor, electronics, EDA, software and ICT industries. After earning his Dr Eng. degree in electronics in 1976 from the University of Genoa (Italy) and his Master of Science degree in Microelectronics and Computer Science from Stanford University, he worked with Signetics, Innovative Silicon Technology and STMicroelectronics. In 1993 Massimo founded Accent. Initially as a Joint Venture between STMicroelectronics and Cadence Inc. As Accent CEO, Massimo transformed a small startup of five engineers into the leader IC design and Fabless ASIC Company in Europe and one of the top 5 in the world. In 2010 Massimo exits Accent and started working as an advisor to deeptech SME's and startups.
