Mr. Nicholas Bartlett serves as Partner & Head, Real Estate Investment at Eversheds Sutherland. He specialises in international real estate investment, real estate finance and transaction structuring. He has a broad range of experience in technically demanding transactions and an aptitude for commercial negotiations. He regularly takes the lead on difficult transactions and delivers a service which our clients value. He advises a variety of investors including sovereign funds, UK and overseas pension funds, high net worth individuals and property companies. He has specific expertise in structuring and transacting complex portfolios and has recently advised a sovereign investor on the purchase of over 30 properties across five jurisdictions in Europe at a value of over 2bn euros. In this instance he personally led the team and delivered a pan European service to our client which was very well received. He also advises on the development and financing of real estate assets and is currently retained in respect of the financing and development of some of London's landmark buildings and projects. He leads our real estate related IT initiatives and was part of a very small group that created the PISCES/OSCRE data schema that allows our systems to share property management and letting information electronically with clients' agents and their other service providers.
